This is a beautifully restored historic country house and carriage barn. Guests can mingle with other guests in the comfy parlors, take a stroll in the gardens, or just relax and read a good book on the porch. A delicious full country breakfast is served every morning in the sunny dining room or at smaller tables in the parlors for more privacy. When guests get the munchies in the afternoon, tea and homemade cookies are available to fulfill those needs. Take advantage of the business services the inn offers. They have ten individually styled bed and breakfast rooms all with their own private baths and air conditioning. While the five Country House guest rooms retain the New York - Massachusetts period atmosphere, the four Carriage Barn guest rooms are Hudson Valley country at its best. A few steps from the Country House is the Carriage Barn where there are four country guest rooms. Throughout this building the new wide planked floors and skillfully crafted built-in headboards and shelves are evidence of the newly rebuilt structure, but the exposed rough-hewn barn beams lend it a nostalgic old-barn aura. 1909 County Route 9, Chatham, NY - From Albany Airport: Travel east on I-90 to Exit B2/Taconic State Parkway. Travel south to the Route 203/Austerlitz/Chatham exit. Turn right (east) onto Route 203 towards Spencertown and travel east for half a mile. At the sign marked East Chatham NY/Red Rock, turn left (north) onto County Route 9. Travel .9 of a mile further north to Spencertown Country B&B.
