The original country inn, built in the Federal style with red brick and wide columned balconies, has now been impeccably restored with understated elegance to appeal to today's most discerning guests. The inn offers ten exquisite guest rooms and a stunning new restaurant with waterfront dining on the veranda overlooking a clear blue lake that stretches for 38 miles against a backdrop of rolling farm fields and vineyards. A beautiful banquet room, stone terrace and lawn and gardens that roll gently down to the water's edge create a perfect setting for weddings, receptions, private parties, and meetings. The guest rooms are each individually decorated with designer fabrics and furnishings that place an emphasis on comfort. All have well-appointed marble bathrooms with plush towels and robes, lounge chairs, writing tables wired for high speed Interne access, and beautiful armoires with flat-panel televisions and DVD/VCR players tucked inside. Most rooms have balconies furnished with rockers, benches, or swings to sit and look out over the lake or charming village below. Some have inviting fireplaces, deep whirlpool baths, wet bars, and other exquisite amenities. Follow Sherwood Road for 4.0 miles to State Route 90 and turn left. The inn is on the right.
